Durable and tough, the GTC-1 features a full steel construction wrapped with a thick black powder coat to safeguard through rigorous use. Loading your GTC-1 is made simple with the included heavy duty folding loading ramp. To save space while the rack is installed, simply fold up the carrier, making it convenient for use in garages or parking lots. The GTC-1 trailer hitch rack is a great alternative for anyone who wants to transport larger electric bikes but doesn't want the hassle of hooking up, towing, and storing a bulky trailer. The carrier features a large 60" x 33" tray with deep 6.5" side rails providing ample room for all your cargo and equipment. The surface of the hitch rack tray is constructed of expanded steel mesh, preventing dirt and debris from building up. The trailer hitch rack side rails feature ten tie down points for versatility when securing cargo and five rubber lined handles for quick and easy rack setup. For added safety, the front of the carrier features reflective stickers for increased visibility at night. A spring pull pin is also included on the front of the rack to keep the ramp secured in the flat position. Built into the GTC-1 is an extra long 60" ramp for conveniently loading wheeled equipment. The ramp is foldable and can be stored flat in the carrier when not in use or placed in the vertical position using the ramp bracket with spring pull pins. With the ramp unfolded, easily walk the equipment right up into the rack! The ramp is 32.5" wide with a 500 lb capacity and features a built in handle for easy folding and unfolding. The GTC-1 fits any class III or IV 2" trailer hitch with a max hitch height of 11" - 18". Supporting the carrier is a heavy duty dual support tube giving the hitch rack its strength and preventing excessive side to side rocking when in use. To keep the carrier even more stable, an anti-tilt locking device is included to remove the extra play commonly found in hitch mounted products by pinching the carrier tube tight to the receiver hitch. The carrier tray is connected to the rack via four bolts and two safety pins to ensure the carrier tray stays secure. To save space when the carrier is not in use, just pull the two pivot pins and fold the carrier up. Each GTC-1 comes with a one year warranty!
